Help me study for my Business class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.
- When creating a new database, would you prefer to import information that has misspelled words, extra spaces between words (John Smith), unwanted prefixes (Dr., Mr., Mrs., etc.), improper cases (MicHaeL HalL), and duplicate items, OR would you prefer to start from scratch. Why?
- One of the most important adages you will hear when it comes to database management is “good data in means good data out”. Why is it important to have clean data in your database? What can happen if you have errors and mistakes in your database?
