Within an industry that is of interest to you, create a scenario in which a U.S. company is interested in expanding to and introducing a new product into an emerging market country.
Write a paper (1,250-1,500 words) that assesses the risk of expanding the product you selected into the emerging market country you have selected. Include the following in your paper:
- A summary of the scenario you created. What product will you be marketing? Into what emerging market country will you potentially be entering?
- An analysis of the characteristics and description of the potential emerging market country.
- A summary of the marketing theory(ies) that support your decision to expand.
- An identification and assessment of three marketing risks that a company within the industry you selected needs to consider before expanding into the potential emerging market country.
- A description of what market leaders can do to mitigate each of these risks.
